Graylings are subtle, modest and camouflaged. I love their unique shy charm. They are found in coastal areas in Britain and they can be tricky to spot due to their colouring. They feed and lay eggs in sparse grassland.
Grayling Butterfly is painted in oils on a gessoed board, mounted on moccasin and presented in a lime washed frame. The artwork measures 8.5cm square and total dimensions including framing are 22cm square.
