For a bird of prey our Kestrel is surprisingly small in the flesh. However, as Kestrels hover in midair during the hunt, it's fairly easy to find and identify them. I see them often around the fields of East Suffolk, and near the roadside verges looking for voles. Kestrels have remarkable eyesight and can hunt until it's almost completely dark.

This beautiful concertina folded card features my original illustration of the Kestrels' egg, the smart Kestrel himself and the Kestrel nest.
