With one of the longest migratory routes in the animal kingdom the Swift is a truly impressive bird. Rarely touching ground Swifts are masters of the wing. They arrive from Africa for our summer with one thing on their minds, namely in order to mate and bring up young. Swifts pair for life and prefer to return to their old nest and make annual renovations.
